We take security seriously and welcome reports from researchers who help keep the platform safe. This policy explains how to report a vulnerability and what to expect in return.
This policy covers the CoinJack web application and its publicly-accessible endpoints. Because CoinJack is a demo with no real funds, the goal is to harden the codebase and protect users' local data.
Send a detailed report to security@coinjack.io. A good report includes:
We aim to acknowledge new reports within 3 business days and to provide an assessment of validity and severity within 10 business days.
We will keep you informed of remediation progress and credit you for the discovery if you wish.
We will not pursue or support legal action against researchers who act in good faith and in accordance with this policy. Testing must avoid harming users, degrading the service, or accessing data beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the issue.
Valid, original reports that improve platform security may be acknowledged in our security credits. We are grateful to the research community for its help.
